As the first solar plant in Egypt was the first inspiration in the solar industry for the world, as in July 2013, the Australian Solar Thermal Society celebrated the centenary of Egypt's construction of the first solar power plant in history before anyone in the world heard of it.
This website can be the regenerator for preserving this industrial heritage and its history.
Our goal is to document this industrial heritage and to revive it as a cultural heritage that can be documented in UNESCO.
